MTA Local TV Program: In Touch with the MTA

Maryland residents have another way to stay in touch with the  MTA: the In Touch With The MTA television show. Airing on cable stations across the state, the show brings its viewers important news and information on transit in Maryland.

Hosted by Jawauna Greeme the MTA Director of Communications & Marketing, the 30-minute program is a one-on-one, interview-based show which features guests who provide updates on MTA's various transit modes-MARC, Metro Subway, Light Rail, Mobility/Paratransit, Local Bus, and Commuter Bus.  The show shares important information on transit programs and projects and promotes public transit throughout the Baltimore-Washington Region.  In Touch with the MTA debuted in February 1997 and is viewed in more than half a million homes throughtout Maryland each month.

"In Touch With The MTA brings interesting guests and transit related topics directly to the viewer. "In Touch" keeps viewers informed on subjects like the Green Line Project, the Light Rail Signal Prioritization Project, and the latest MARC Train news.  It also explores the best transit means to get to some of Maryland's great events like the Maryland State Fair, Artscape, the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Preakness and Ravens & Orioles games.

For more information on In Touch With The MTA, please contact the show's producer Marc Jones (mjones2@mtamaryland.com. You can also check below or your local listings for the day and time when the next In Touch show will air.
