Driving Record Standards
A good driving record is one with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years; no more than three (3) moving violations in (5) years; and no more than four (4) current points. A DUI conviction in the past five (5) years or more than one (1) DUI in the total driving history will disqualify an applicant.
A driving record which indicates that a license is suspended is only acceptable when accompanied by proper written notification from the Motor Vehicle Administration indicating the suspension is withdrawn.
A driving record indicating that a driver's license is currently revoked, suspended or expired is not acceptable. A driving record indicating a past revocation will be reviewed by MTA Employment Services.
