How to Apply

You must complete an application to be considered for any recruitment with the MTA. Resumes may not be substituted. Since the examination for recruitments may be an evaluation and rating of the information you provide on your application, it is essential that the application be filled out completely and accurately, listing all relevant education/experience and addressing the specific qualifications shown on the job vacancy announcement. Applications not completely filled out will not be considered.

Applications NOT received by the closing date WILL NOT be considered. Please read each announcement carefully for specific qualifications and instructions.

It is highly encouraged that applications be completed and submitted online by registering at https://jobs.mdot.state.md.us/

Once you complete the three step registration process you can click https://jobs.mdot.state.md.us/JobListings.aspx  to view and apply to current job vacancies. Please carefully read the entire announcement to ensure you meet the minimum and selective requirements and follow all steps as instructed on MDOT’s Online Employment Center.

If you do not wish to apply on line you may submit a Application Form via mail to: MTA Employment Office, 6 Saint Paul Street, Baltimore, MD 21202.
