MTA Mobility Introduces New Phone Number on January 16

Number is more convenient for customers, combining reservations and customer service

January 16, 2021 (Baltimore, MD) The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) Office of Mobility Services has announced that effective today, Friday, January 16, 2021 their new primary phone number will be 410-764-8181.  The MTA has also mailed postcards noting the new primary number and its associated menus to the more than 15,000 Mobility-certified customers that use the service.

Mobility is the department that handles MTA’s paratransit service, which provides transportation services for over 3,000 individuals daily that are unable to use Local Bus, Metro Subway and Light Rail fixed route services most of the time.

MTA Administrator Paul Wiedefeld said, “Our Mobility Services always strives to provide efficient customer service for our mobility clients who value having transit independence.” This new number will be a convenient, efficient gateway to the MTA Mobility Reservations, Certification, and Customer Service Departments.
