Transportation Information

The MTA Information Center can provide customers with information regarding transit routes, schedules and fares. The information center telephone number is 410-539-5000, TTY for people who are speech and/or hearing impaired, 410-539-3497. An interactive phone system allows you to get information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Information Coordinators are available Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Customers who are not familiar with the transit system may call for assistance in planning trips. An Information Coordinator will tell you which bus or train you will need to reach your destination, advise you of any needed transfers and help you to determine the time that the bus or train will arrive at your stop. The Coordinator will also help you to determine the proper fare.

Printed timetables are available for all MTA services at libraries and other neighborhood centers, or by calling the information center. These timetables are a handy reference for determining travel times and routes that you may use on a regular basis.

The MTA provides transit information upon request in alternative formats.
