Online Purchases Various MARC Tickets, including the Transit Link Card (TLC), may be purchased on-line at www.CommuterDirect.com.

Group Tickets (10 or more passengers) Customers must notify the MARC Operations Center two weeks prior to departure at 410-454-7010 between the hours of 9:30 AM and 12:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Other Purchasing Options One-way and two-trip tickets maybe purchased with CASH ONLY on trains when there is no ticket agent available. Tickets purchased on trains if the ticket office was open at the time of train departure are subject to a $3.00 penalty.
Tickets can be purchased with cash, check, (with photo ID and current address imprinted on the check), Metrocheks or Commuter Choice Maryland Vouchers, at any staffed ticket office. MetroCheks are accepted only with redeemable values of $1, $5, $10, $15, $20, $21, and $30. MetroCheks and Commuter Choice vouchers cannot be accepted in excess of the price of a ticket. Only totally unused MetroCheks are acceptable and tickets purchased are non-refundable.
At Amtrak stations (Washington, New Carrollton, BWI Marshall, Baltimore Penn) and the four Commuter Stores in Virginia, most major credit cards are accepted. Passengers are required to show photo ID when buying MARC tickets at the ticket windows at Washington, New Carrollton, BWI Marshall Rail Station, and Baltimore Penn Station. NO EXCEPTIONS! Other MARC Stations accept MasterCard and Visa ONLY.
